It is an honour to be a part of Department of Pathology at Government Medical College and Maharashtra Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Nashik.

Here we have amenities  for undergraduate (M.B.B.S) as well as post graduate course(M.D. Pathology).

Our department consists of Central Clinical Laboratory , Specialized Hematology laboratory and Blood Bank.

Our undergraduate college teaching campus is located in Bytco Hospital, Nashik Road.The facilities include a dedicated Pathology Museum , Library cum seminar room and two spacious practical halls .

The postgraduate training facilities and laboratories are located in Civil Hospital, Nashik which comprises of dedicated Departmental library and a demonstration room for case studies for the students.

The Specialized Hematology Laboratory caters to testing for children suffering from  Thalessemia and other Hemoglobin disorders which are prevalent in the endemic hilly tribal areas in our region.

Our blood bank supports voluntary blood donation and we promote safe blood transfusion. Each and every blood bag  undergoes thorough pre-transfusion screening.

Our aim is to provide high quality patient care, to pursue research and to provide advanced training to the students.

This department serves as a bridge between science and medicine which ensures that the patient receives accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
