MAHARASHTRA POST GRADUATE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL EDUCATION AND RESEARCH,NASHIK (MPGIMER) came into existence thru GR dated 5/04/2021 for medical college with intake capacity of 100 students and 430 bedded hospital. Presently MPGIMER is functioning in the premises of District Civil Hospital under an MOU. District Civil Hospital, Nashik  is the largest district hospital in north Maharashtra catering to the Nashik District and surrounding areas. Presently MPGIMER has started Post Graduate Courses in streams of General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Paediatrics, Anaesthesia, Orthopedics,  Emergency Medicine, Pathology, Microbiology, FMT,Radiology, ENT, Ophthalmology.
