The Event: Department of Anatomy and Physiology, GMC, MPGIMER, MUHS,Nashik organised and successfully conducted Elocution competition in view of Indian organ donation campaign on 25th July 2024. There were 9 entries including MPGI PG students, students from nursing college and faculty of MPGI for the competition, showcasing their oration skills on the topic of organ donation.

The event was graced by respected Dean  Dr Venkat Gite sir, Deputy Dean Dr Patole sir , Dr Suhas Patil sir as chief guests. All HODs and  faculties of GMC and MPGI, nursing students were present in huge numbers. The nursing students participated with enthusiasm and fantastic ideas. The students displayed remarkable eloquence and depth in their speeches. The competition was judged by Major Dr Jitendra Singh who had a tough time selecting the winners due to exceptional quality of the presentation. Three students were chose as winners and faculty from the blood bank is nominated as the best speaker. Respected Dean sir emphasised that such activities should be conducted on regular basis. For that he announced the formation of the organ donation awareness committee and selected members of that committee.

The event was followed by prize and certificate distribution .

The department of Anatomy and Physiology would like to express gratitude to respected Dean sir Dr Venkat Gite , Deputy Dean Dr Patole  , Dr Suhas Patil , Dr Jitendra Singh sir, all the faculties and nursing staff.

The event was a testament to the extracurricular activities of GMC Nashik under the dynamic leadership of our Dean sir Respected Dr Venkat Gite sir.
