The department of Community Medicine was established in the year 2023 to train medical students with knowledge, attitude and skills to become efficient doctors both in rural and urban areas.

The department is equipped with a Museum and Library for the students.

The department intends to involve students in various educational visits like Primary Health Centers, Sub Centers, Anganwadi centers, Water Treatment Plant, Sewage Treatment Plant, Milk Dairy etc .

The department is involved in providing services to the community both in rural and urban areas which would help the students develop appropriate attitude and communication skills.
